Description
Are you a self-starter with Telecom Field Technician expertise, who exceeds customer service expectations? If so, read on, we would love to have you become a member of our growing team!
As a valuable engineering team member, you will apply your high-level knowledge of telecommunications to build rapport, enhance client trust, while delivering an exceptional customer service experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in various commercial, government, retail, and data center locations, with ISP, network, and structured cabling experience.
- Manage all on-site installation, maintenance, repairs and testing requirements to ensure exceptional quality assurance and proper documentation of all related processes.
-Provide unmatched customer service and support during field visits.
-Technical expertise with LAN, WAN, MAN, MPLS, Optical Carrier Network Architecture, Distributed Access Architecture, TCP/IP, SNMP, Outside Plant (OSP) FOC including but not limited to, OTDR, Fusion Splicing, Fiber location, Transmission, Routing, Switching, Data Center Cross-Connection.
-Technical expertise and knowledge of identifying and locating fiber optic cables, building MPOE, Data Center MMR, structured cabling including demarcation extensions and cross-connections.
-Extensive expertise in racking, stacking, configuring and testing networking equipment.
-Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Netgear, Fortinet networking equipment.
-Service existing accounts by analyzing work orders, planning a daily travel schedule, conducting tests and resolving problems efficiently.
